hey guys,

i have been trying to locate a build thread on the supra 2JZ into a hilux but cannot seem to find a good one with all the details on how what and prices. maybe im just retarded and there is heaps there i just cannot find it. im getting rid of my 5L with a ct20 bolted onto it and putting some power into the beast. already have 3inch parabolic leaf lift with 2 inch body, sliders, Detroit locked diffs and fairly new box in it. if anyone wants a 5L with turbo let me know its got basically brand new heavy duty clutch as well with machines flywheel contact me on here!

What boxes do people use on the 2J best adapter kits etc and how to get it to bold to the transfer? and weather shafts need custom lengths etc

some info would be great i am doing most of this myself due to having at least some skills in trade work and tools. if anyone has done this too some challenges along the way would be great to know about before i start. also some links to build threads would be very helpful

I have a 2JZ GTE in my truck
mine is a little more involved than yours due to the fact it is an rn46 (smaller engine bay)and i have 80 series chassis
basically you use a v6 hilux box with a delow bellhousing for a 1jz plus a custom flywheel and clutch

i actually have a spare 2jz plus dellow bellhousing and custom flywheel for sale ( a mates project that never got finished)
i got 2 made when i did mine can sort you out with everything you need

where abouts are u i can pre wire the engine for you as well so its and easy install

mate i am on brizzy north as well haha

its easier just get the box and man transfer from a v6 you can stuff around and see if it fits
but if you get a second hand box normally the transfer dont cost a lot more if included
