shakel problems

Post by Swag_Man »

sorry couldn't find anything useful while searching..

OK well i have just been helping a mate put some extended shakels into his ford courier.. they went in pritty sweet all except one bolt which for some unknown reason will not go through its just balancing on the end of the end like it wont go through any further but maybe the end 1mm of the thread is through.. its really weird all the others were fine except this...
does anyone have any ideas on how to get it out the rest of the way.. its been greased up well as they are grease able shakels and belted with a FBH but still no luck any help would be great

they are snake racing shakels if that helps
sorry is i have not explained this will will try post a pic tomorrow.

i put the topic here figuring shakels are a generic subject...

cheers

Snake shackles are blue.

Which bolt is being a pain in the ass??

Bolt through shackle into spring or through shackle into shackle mount??

the bolt in the mount is the one thats a Scanas

its really stuck in so getting it out will be fun may wack anothe bot in the other way.... but it fitted well through the bushes and fitted well through the shakel but all together it wont budge.. but the other side was fine... im guessing the mount may be bent don't know how...
