Anybody purchased or used one before. I'm interested to see how rich my disco is really running and the extra data logging features are appealing to my inner nerd. A bit of googling I've found that these appear to be better quality than the Innovate ones and impressions from the website are that its a very well made kit.
Would be good to see if anyone has had any first hand experiences with these.

They are good stuff - have used one for years with no issues. Mate has also used them professionally for yonks.
To get full value from the data aquisition capability ( depends what unit you select and how much memory ) you do need to register some of the freeware packages but even in demo mode they are usefull.

For the same cost you could fit two oxygen sensors into your exhaust and wire them into the ECU and let the computer worry about your mixture settings.

The 14cux only uses narrow band sensors (PillipA has a very good write up on AULRO). But for that to work properly you need a fully functioning EFI system. I will be looking at putting a mega-squirt in once I get a new daily driver, and for that I want a wideband sensor for both closed loop operation (again only at constant speeds) but also for tuning.

That is fair enough if you are going to change the ECU etc.

Then again if it won't be your daily driver then why spend a lot of dough and time on saving a few litres per hundred. Other than the tinkering for fun factor of course.
My Disco1 has done just 4000kms this year so far. Hardly worth worrying about.
