You may need a steering extension or may not just loosen the join when you lift it and see how it goes. My 40mm body lift didnt.
When you say brake lines do you mean the steel lines? because when you do the BL the part where the lines are coiled will simply stretch out a bit.
You may need to bend your levers but not neceseraly extend them. they will just sit a little lower than normal.
A good way around gearstick problems (although a lot of work) is a drivetrain lift. Lift the motor and gearbox/transfer up using engine mount spacers and a custom crossmember. Added benefit is heaps better ramp over angle and clearance underneath.
You can get around 4 inches more clearance - 2 inch drivetrain lift and a crossmember that is 2 inches thinner (made from steel plate instead of pressed crap).

Also I forgot to mention if you are using black steel bolts its a good idea to hit em with a spraypaint of cold galv before installation.
