I have the Airdog, not Airdog II. The pressure from the Airdog II is too high for my injection pump.
I would have thought the pressure from the Airdog II would be too high for an 80 series as well
Edit: sorry my bad I see you have a petrol 80 series - I assumed it would be used for a diesel. I know nothing about using these with petrol.

I'm doing a diesel conversion soon so I was just looking at different filters/pumps that were available and found this one. All I really want to know is if it works or is just a gimmick. Any info on its reliability and effectiveness would be appreciated. Another unit I found is the FASS, HD and Titanium series, anyone heard or sed these?

The Airdog works, but I used it because the fuel flow rate of my injection pump has been increased dramatically from stock, and i had doubts over the ability of the stock fuel lift pump to provide enough fuel reliably. I simply wanted more fuel flow and a little higher pressure. I had not set out to achieve any of the other claimed benefits such as improved performance through eliminating entrained air.
I looked into some of the available options, probably not all of them, and checked others experiences/recommendations on forums such as performance diesel.
Fass and Airdog are very similar - AFAIK, the guy who owns Fass is the son of, and used to work for the guy who owns Airdog. It is said he took the design and the two had a falling out. I found Airdog were cheaper than Fass. Also 2 micron filters are now standard - at the time the web site didn't say this.
