Saw an article on flex. high misalignment rod ends were mentioned to replace standard tie rod ends giving the double deg's or more of angle before binding. unfortunatley thats pretty much all they touched on the rod ends. anyone running that set up? or know about it?

Are you talking about high misalignment spacers? That's what I used with standard rod ends to give more angle of rotation. They just reduce the size of the bolt hole.
Trailgear sell them, or you can just turn up your own on the lathe.

You can get hi-misalignment versions of most rodends, they work the same as the spacers, same size ball but a smaller hole through it.

Yea you need a custom length draglink with offset tie rods that will sit square to the knuckle and pitman arm at midway of suspension travel.

I'll probably just go the MQ knuckle set up & gu box. Just have to work out how to mod the panhard rod bracket, diff end to get it parallel with the draglink.

I met a bloke from Vic at the Glenroy Plains Offroad Enduro who also brought his GQ ute over which was set up for rock crawling. (Indi..something Racing?) He had MQ knuckles on the diff so he could run a front tie rod and high steer set up that he made himself, and a custom 5 link front he also made himself. Flexed and travelled like crazy. Had the 082 GQ stg box too from memory. Got some vid of him playing on the rocks in the quarry at the Enduro.
