Hello to all, im looking at buying one of these tigs or something similar just chasing peoples opinions on these two machines. Which would be the better unit? Pros and cons? and any other info you wish to share

for not a whole lot more than that second one you could buy a Kemppi...........

Not familiar with either of these, but be careful you can get parts , which a lot of the cheap machines seem to need.....

No you won't. An upspec Kemppi AC/DC will owe you around $5000.
Those machines will work and will probably be ok for the enthusiastic amateur. I would rather consider purpose built machines rather than multi function ones.
For someone that Tig welds all day their lack of finesse would be frustrating.
I went through the whole scenario myself when I was looking at single phase Tig machines but seeing as I do Tig weld all day I went and bought a Kemppi with all the bells and whistles.
Regards Andrew.

Ebay is your friend.........
I have seen a couple go through in the past months in great nick for around the 1.5k mark (not their highest spec models)....... in fact I near brought one of them after the good reviews they have been getting as a backup machine, but got taken out at the post.

Does anyone rate the plasma cutter?

We have one at work and it would not have been used in 3 years.
