Hey everyone

just wondering if anyone can help me out.
Ive recently got the 4y motor in my hilux rebuilt.
Put it back in and its running really rough and doesnt idle.
Also i need some info on what vacuum lines to keep and which ones to block up.

Or if anyone can come have a look at it for me in newcastle i can pay cash or beer.

Thanks

I've got the 4y as well, found i had shitty idle when a vacuum line popped off can post up photos of what it all looks like and clay hook what replacement carbs can you get for the 4y and whats the fuel consumption/power increase like with them ? I've seen webber conversion kits for about $500 but still think its a bit exy if i'm going to upgrade to a 3rz in about 6 months ... does the stock carbi take well to a tuning ?

yeah i know they are terrible.

i am going to a 253 early next year so dont want to shell out for an aftermarket caby.

Although i already have an adaptor lol.

I think xe-xf falcons had holleys or webbers that will go on a 4y.

Id rather just block up the unnessicary vacuum lines because ive already got rid of the charcoal canisters.
Ill have a play around and hopefully work it out.

Alos i have a fuel cell on the back and the fuel pump seems to be taking forever to get the fuel to the front if it is even pumpin at all.Any ideas?
Im looking at a 12v electric job atm.
