Hello,

I recently rebuilt the 4y in my lux and the fuel pump isnt to crash hot.
I have decided to go with a 12v electric fuel pump.
I already have a VK EFI fuel pump here but as i understand they put out to much pressure for the carby motor.

My question is will this fuel pump work if i used a regulator to bring it down to around 7psi?

I dont think buying a new mechanical pump is an option because im runing a pretty big fuel cell and the pickup points are on the top of the tank and not on the side like most.

thanks for the help

No, I don't think there's a realistic way of using the EFI pump.

The fedtro/facet type pumps are often recommended eg http://cgi.ebay.com.au/4-0-6-0psi-Fedtr ... 3f029b01ef" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Not sure which flow rate you'd want.
