Hey All, I Have a 1985 HJ60 landcruiser, I have done the right thing and converted the 2h with a 12ht, Just wondering if anyone has converted the single round headlights and grill, to the 61 series twin sqaure headlights and grill? Is it possible?, i think it would be a nice new look for my cruiser, Ceers, Ron.

you would have to cut the radiator support panel out and weld one in from a 88+

i think the fenders are different too.

I did the conversion on mine. Did a body swap to an earlier model and wanted to keep my double headlights. The radiator support panel pretty much bolts straight in, I left the older model guards on as they were painted already and the only other thing you need to swap from the double headlight front is the stone guard that sits underneath the radiator across the front. The only trouble with keeping the old guards that I found is that you need a couple of screw holes for the plastic grill that aren't there as well as a little recess for the sides of the grill but you can't notice at all. As for indicators I now don't have any in the front guards but you can modify the park lights to be indicators if you want but you will now have indicators under the lights anyway. So at a minimum you will need radiator support panel, stone guard and grill/lights. Hope this helps
