Hi all,
I have a 02 GU wagon,

specs listed below, very curious if I've missed anything in my build up.

02 GU
6.5 chev diesel.
3.5 diffs.
lifted 3'' front,4'' rear, sitting on king springs and lovell shox.
1'' body lift.
adj panhards front + rear.
adj swaybar link pins.
35'' MTZ
AVM hubs.
Long range tanks.
twin swing away carrier.
3 x lightforce xgt.
twin batteries.

Do I need to run gearbox spacers with this lift.?.Appreciate any help you guys can give.

Cheers

Not in a wagon mate, it's the shorties that have the vibes, as they have a shorter tail-shaft than the front. Although I wouldn't bother with a 3 inch lift, the only thing to modify when lifting a paddy (or a coil cruiser for that matter), besides the obvious castor correction, is longer lower rear arms.

Turn your tailshaft around the other way. Makes it thinner on the gearbox side and stops it from rubbing on the fixed chassis brace.

conversion was done by brunswick diesels in WA after the 3 litre went bye bye at 112,000k.

Not a Duramax.total conversion was $23,000 drive in,drive out.

Money well spent.75,000 k's on it so far and not a hint of trouble
