1hz replace ex manifold gasket.. will i break studs?

Ok So i have a 1hz that i have JUST got a turbo working on.. and guess what.. exhaust manifold gasket has blown
So now i either pay someone for a days labour to replace a cheap part. or I try it myself.
My only concern is that I will encounter a broken stud or break one trying to get it off.
What are my chances of doing it without a hitch.. 04 hzj105 with 240,000kms

Very high....
Spray lots (I MEAN LOTS) of WD40 or similar and let sit for as lomg as possible....
I bought a stud remover on the off chance i would need it ......and i did, i broke 4 studs all in the same spot about 2cm from the block face...
The stud remover did its job and i was done, pretty soon after
I replaced all my studs when i did it.

try your luck. I have removed and replaced mine with out a drama. some of the studs came out instead of the nut coming off, but no real problem.

so i just took the heatshield off.. first two studs broken off (obviously a long time ago) and missing

and of course that's where i sprang my leak..
the rest are SOOOO corroded..
Looks like i have a task ahead of me
I am not real flash at getting broken studs out.. especially when they snap off in the head (never done one like that before) are there some tricks i can use?
Last time i broke one off I tried easy (hard) outs, then vice grips, then swore, then welded a big nut to the stump that was left, the whole stud was glowing hot , then i poured water on it to cool it down, it came out really easy after that. Almost finger tight.
Wondering if i just jump the gun and do similar to all the studs (that are left) and replace the lot?
after looking I reckon I will break off more than 50% of them if i just try to undo the nuts.
I have :
gasless mig welder
lpg blow torch
tap and die set (not sure if i have the right sizes) and last time i used one was at school 14 odd years ago..
various drill bits
buying a drill lol lost my last one :(
I think i have to give it a go.. I cant justify the dollars (to myself or the handbrake) to pay someone to do it.
While it's off i can do the egt sensor.

hey mate the best way i find to get studs out is centre punch the middle of the stud then i find an old flat head screwdriver and get a drill bit thats a bit smaller the the driver. drill it out then drive the driver in and lock some vise grips onto it and it usually comes out sweet as. i never use easy-outs incase they break off. then u are screwed

buy a cobalt dril bit for the job as they eat hardend steel (studs)
what i do is i drill a small hole with cobalt then i have a set of reverse drills (the actually drill in reverse) 9 times out of ten they grab (due to the smaller hole i am now drilling into) and screw the busted stud out they are absolute gold if that fails then you are left with a hole the right size for an easy out
or (if ruff a screw driver )

Just a tip for removing the manifold (before breaking any studs)
The way I always do them, 1st wire brush all the exposed threads clean, spray with inox.
If you haven't got a rattle gun, with a breaker bar and rubber mallet crack each stud just about 10 deg, don't take them out all the way out one by one, that just makes each one harder as u go. The quick hard impact of hitting them with the mallet rather than slowly turning them works much better. That's why rattle guns work so well.
