Ironman Bars and Winches

I am looking at getting a bar for my Colorado and originally looked at an ECB (East Coast Bullbars) Arc winch bar as we cart their freight. But my boss has pointed me in the direction of an Ironman setup as he said they had a deal going in the latest 4wd monthly I think he said. But any way The ECB bar is worth $2090 with me fitting it and getting it delivered through work free of charge. The Ironman Commercial Bullbar with 9500lb low mount winch and a pair of 100w lights is $1999 once again me fitting and getting picked up through work.

Now my question is has anyone got or an Ironman winch or bar?

I had both.

Sold the bad cause I didn't like the way it fitted. Even though it wasn't very old it was starting to get surface rust.

And the winch is on the shed floor. Water got into the motor and stuffed it. Funny how that happened, as I have never gone though a creek with it on. Must have been rain or garden hose water. Either way not a very good seal job.

The bar might be worth buying, but if you're after a cheap winch have a look at the Tigerz11 winches. Most people seem happy with them (more then the owners of Ironman winches)

No worries the bar alone is $1089 and superior sell the Tigerz11 and some T-max winches for around the same price from 9500lb to 10000lb.
I may give Ironman another ring and see if the bar buy its self will come with the winch mounting brackets. I know the ECB one does, just need to see if I can get a better price on it through work.

TJM steel bars for your vehilce are $899, and 8,500lb winches go for $870. Check out the TJM website in the whats new section for images if your keen. I work for TJM in Sydney, so PM me if you need any more info.

There is always the ARB options. Commercial bar and magnum 9000lb winch $2070 if you fit it yourself.

Bar : http://www.arb.com.au/products/arb-prot ... s/3448400/

Not as pretty as a deluxe one, but certainly cheaper.
