hj75 2h wont turn off

my 75 wont turn off with the key is there a realy that sends power to the control unit .the control unit works fine on start up just wont shut the fuel off

so it stops when you disconnect the wire to the fuel cut solenoid?

haha, i use to have one with same problem. previous owner had a pull cable wired through the dash to cut the engine off. choked it or something. Gotta love a dodgy old 2h 75. Cant remember what it was that caused the problem in first place but did hear it was common.

this also happen to a 2H 60 series i used to own.it ended up being the little control unit thingo in the drivers side kick panel.muddie water had got into it after getting stuck in bog at Kinglake. dont know if the 75 will have it in the same place but have a look and try change it.

stand on the brakes, put it in gear and release the clutch. same as stall stopping on a steep hill when out bush.

untill you fix it.

wire a kill switch in series to the fuel cut solenoid... problem solvered.

common problem i would be looking at the edic motor relay think its behind the lh kick pannel
pull it apart you might see a burnt circuit on the printed circuit bord might be able to repair it
