strange electrical problem

with the indicator on and the motor above 2000 rpm the charge light blinks with the indicator?? any ideas why it is doing this?

its not the altinator mate its only on when i put the indicator on, and i have to be accelerating at the same time, altinator is still charging fine, does anyone else have any ideas?

i mis-read what you wrote, sorry.
sounds like it may be a instrument cluster issue. have you checked the earth/s to it too?

Change the indicator bulb and make sure all connections are good where it sits.

This problem sounds like a bad earth on theinstrument cluster. The current in the direction indicator bulb (L or R) should go thru the bulb to earth, but if the earth is bad, it may be going thru other bulbs to their earths or somewhere else. Check the earthing on the cluster board. You may also have a broken track on the printed circuit board. Trace the tracks to and from the indicator bulbs. If you see a break, you can dab a bit of solder over it and it should be OK.
