Nice rip-off on #2, i've been running one like that for about the last year and a bit!!!

They work really well, you can make a huge bash plate and not worry about drain plugs and shait like that!!!

how would the style 2 crossmember go with vibrations not having a rubber mount?

You fit a rubber mount at each end instead of in the middle.

I had a look at my rubber mounts a while ago and they were fine, they are hilux bushes and have been in there for over a year!

Mide you i don't "Drive it" very hard so thats nothing to go by :P :P

if it became a kit it would have 8mm plate to go to the frame - the main piece is 12mm - and would run hilux bushes

tony i will do that i think i got it close

when you say hilux bushes, which bushes do you mean?

Its sorta hard to explain but basically use hilux spring bushes in a piece of tube and mount that to the chassis, that takes all the vibrations.

If you wait till saturday i will take some pics of mine to show you!

this shows one of the major differences between mine and my snake one

where this bend is - mine is as clsoe to the frame as possible

the snake one is about 1 1/2" away from the frame
