excessive water in fuel filter

Hey i have a ln106 with a 3L im draining atleast 600mls of water out of my fuel filter every few weeks is this normal ?
could i have a hole some where thats sucking water into my fuel system when i cross rivers etc ?
im going to run the tank low and then re fill with new diesel and hopfully that will tell me.

let the car sit with the nose slightly up for a a few minutes then pull the fuel tank bung and drain about 5L into a clear bucket or container. let that sit for a few minutes and see how much water is ther.If thers water in the tank it will all be sitting under the diesel on the bootom of the tank so sud be the first stuff out the drain hole.

If ther is a good percentage of water in the sample i would drain the whole tank and replace.

It may pay to check ur fueltank breather, filler hose and cap. Another possibility is that the servos underground tank is flooded out. A good thing to remember is to never fill up when a tanker is offloading fuel.
