Outer Limits 4x4 Board

hi guys, ive just bought a gq shorty with a holden 5L. I wanna swap the manual box out for an auto for easier winching and crawling in winch comps. just wondering whats involved in the change over and what autos everyone uses. i know i will need an adapter to the transfere case but was more interested in the computer side of things and shifting. thanks guys Gudge

You can run a few different boxes .. patrol and late model commodore (4l60e,4l65e) autos require electronic input, early commodore (th700) dont except for lockup converter. If you only need a 3 speed go th400.. check out marks 4wd adaptors
