Got shown an add today (didnt check to see how old it was) from a 4x4 parts trader book of an add of the above

Had like GQ/GU 4.6's n 4.8s not hundred percent sure whether theyhave front n rear to suit ............and h260 gears cant remember ratio

Also LUX 4.88's /5.29's

And Ford 9" ratios and a few other makes .................

All for $295 n end

Ive posted a similair post in NISSAN can anyone shed some light is ROCKCRUSHER DIFFS and G&J GEARS the one and the same ......????

They also seemed to have quite a few sets like im sure one of the quantitys was 32 on the shelf ................

Sorry for the vague reference on these items as i wasnt really enthused as i already have my 4.8's for my pos of which i paid more for :? ....................

Just thought some of you especially YOTA owners may appreciate the cost of 4.8s/ 5.29's

mate rang monday re GQ ratios and they only had front ratios, not sure if 4.6 or 4.8 tho. Price good but, i think $275 per R&P, much better than $400ish.

Whilst the prices are good, something to be aware of....keep in mind this may only reflect the opinions of a few diff shops.......When I was ringing around to get a basic idea of how much it'd cost to get air lockers and R&P's installed into my centres all three of the diff workshops asked what brand the gears were that I had and wanted installed. When I told them I had a set of 2nd hand genuine gears, they said "fine", but all three said they'd refuse to install some aftermarket gears because of quality issues.

I got mine from LinQuip (Gympie) .....because when people put diesel V8's into their cars they usually put in in higher diff ratio's. My gears came out of GU1 2.8td....cost me $495 per end + $20 postage. Brunswick Diesels would be another place to try, as would any shop that does similar swaps.

Just my 2c worth
