Hi, just looking to put something together so i have an LPG guage on the dash. Looking to create my own from 9 LED's as I believe most tanks run a 90ohm sender from the tank.
Has anyone done this before? am I wrong about most tanks being 90ohm?
Are there any other ideas out there?
Thanks
Azz

Re: LPG guages, looking for different ideas
autometer make gauges with 0-90 ohm for use with lpg if you are going a aftermarket dash
i used to run the 0-90 into the standard cruiser gauge worked fine but backwards
OEM Toyota fuel gauge resistance: Full = 17 +/- 2.1 ohms Half = 40 +/- 4.5 ohms Empty = 120 +/- 6.5 ohm
so really if you fitted a 20 ohm resistor inline the gauge would be quite accurate but backwards
