Im pretty sure thats a jmac high steer set up. There are alot of different high steer set ups arounds. And for a lifted 4bie it is a definate to lift panhard and high steer. Takes everything back to the way it should be, saves breaking tie rod ends on bad angles and it handles great.

You can get some kits like this to drop your rear panhard rod.

Its just the front thats hard to do propperly.

EDIT... I just found these, got to love the aussie dollar at the moment.

Ive seen the slee ones but too expensive. On another forum they said that the 6 shooter ones will fit a fj80. Maybe have to email them and find out.

Won't the slee one only work for LHD?

it can work for either LHD or RHD. In the US they need to source a RHD near side steering arm (double ended) to use the kit. To make it work on a RHD vehicle you would need to source a LHD near side steering arm (double ended)

Ive found a place in canada that do a good high steer kit "ott industries" but they want my hub to set it up and do it propperly. Its so bloody hard and anoying to have to look to the states to get this stuff rather than be ripped off here in aus. So Im going to make them up myself. I dont like the idea of just 2 or 3 bolts taking my steering so im going along the lines of the 6 shooter type.
