Quadies are a good carbie when set up right and compared to a Holley don't need adjusting as much.

They also have smallish primaries making them ok for economy with large secondaries for when you need the juice.

Edit - these days I would go injection. Its very easy to set up and if you are already running the later VN style heads you can pick up stock manifolds for a couple of hundred dollars.

yea i priced up VN heads, with the map sensor, but a little out of my budget, i had this engine as a complete, so ill run it for the time being. For what it's worth i'd be better off buying a who engine as apposed to just the heads cam and wiring loom, price wise that is,

They are a good carby but suffer from small fuel bowls that can cause issues on angles and in some high HP applications.
