Outer Limits 4x4 Board

i was looking at buying the opw or speedwerxs benders i dont want to spend more then
2 grand on one which one would be the better option for building a comp truck using
40mil nom bore 2.9 wall thikness . and are they hard to use do they take a bit of
of force to bend the pipe

i;v used the jd squared type before and the bends come out perfect the one i was using was hydrolic assisted tho all i can suggest when using one of these types of benders is to make a test bend up so u can make a line on it from where the bend will start and u won't have any problems picking it up from there the pros of having a hydrolic one is that you dont have to bolt it to the ground it can be fitted to a stand wit wheels

go the 2 or the 32 ideally.

don't touch the speedwerx - they make an easy job hard

Was using a JD² today. They are easy to use and once you understand the process, there aren't too many basic bends that are out of reach.

what about the model 4 bru?

the modle 4 looks a bit expensive

no point worrying about $$ if you want a decent bender.

Im over using this POS DAWN bender so im looking for an upgrade too.

Biggest issue i have is i dont have a workshop so i dont have a concrete floor to bolt it down to.

I just got a model 32 and had the same problem, so I bolted it to the tray of my 2wd rodeo and it's perfect now. Just drive it out into the street and away u go. Mobile bending service haha

haven't used it yet mate - and probably won't for a few months.
I bought it to secure 1:1 with us dollar.

The 4 is a lot weaker than the 32 (about half as strong) (yes I have it the right way around).

The main advantage of the 4 is quicker loading and can make tighter 2 bends - 2" apart.

The degree wheel on the 4 needs more work as it cannot be zeroed and the zero point changes with each die - where as the 2 and the 32 are zeroable.

The 4 doesn't use U clamps so its better

I have a model 3. Easy to use, and as long as you THINK about what is going on you won't waste too much tube. Packs up small, and with a decent length bar on the handle cranks easy.

My JD bender has looked great in the corner of the shed, one day I'll get some time to use it.

A couple of mates have borrowed it and have been happy with its performance.

quite happy with my 32, has its own mounting post that drops in to a hole in the tray of my isuzu

Speedworx at my previous work, JD2 Model 32 here. The JD2 is a better unit, easier to use and I think more accurate.

Whats a hydraulic JD2 worth? I'm lookin for one that will do all the tube work said on here and ally work as well.
