ACT Rules?
Hey guys

What are the rules on modifying tyres and suspension In the ACT?

Ive just bought a Vitara dn want to know what things i can do to it. ( in regards to lifting and bigger tyres.)

Any advise is much apreciated.

From what i have read , it seems you can only have it lifted 2inches (50mm) in total.

I only want advise on what you can do before you need to get an engineers certificate.

Cheers

Linx

i have done a search.

Contact the RTA and get an engineer on side. There is the complete modification schedule on the RTA's site.

No one should beheld responsible for any advice given here. If you go by what you find on the internet, you can guarantee it will not pass inspection and will never make it on to the road. We are not qualified to give advice as to the interpretation of RTA rules and regulations.

but the general understanding which most work off is as you say 50mm lift total.
