Hey I have a lux with a 3Litre turbo motor that struggles with temps when it's pushed hard on the highway (14 psi boost doesn't help), I have been trying things for years between this motor and my old 2.8.
Due to the restricted airflow I have started toying with the idea of a large rear mount on a custom tray with twin thermos.
Just after some pics to give me ideas, also it's regularly driven on road to tow the boat... Are police going to give problems keeping in mind I want to have a shroud around it so I can stil load the tray.
Thanks
Brad

This was cooling a supercharged rb30.
this is where the fluid piping ran under the car.

Thanks for the pics, that's exactly what I had in mind.
I was also going to put a water to air cooler on with a large heat exchanger where the radiator used to sit.
Did you use au falcon radiator and fans?
What's the best pipe to use? Exhaust tube ok?
Was going to use inline water pump too.
Cheers
Brad

AU fans have my vote (but aren't fitted to the vehicle in the photos).
My engine would boil on the dyno with the dyno cell fan trying to cool it without my AU fans.
Yet with just my AU fans it would hold it's cool during dyno runs, and not need the addition fan from the cell.

I have worked out to use BA radiator and thermos as they use draw less current then the AU fans, and am unsure if i need a electric water pump...Done alot of reading and there is conflicting info about them...
Would 1 1/2" exhaust piping be suitable?
I did do the best search i could but just found lots of asked questions and not many answers...
Thanks for the replys so far.

I did some mods to the bonnet to get the hot air out by making a vent to flow the hot air out.
