drop drag link question

ive got a 94 solid front hilux with a 2" body lift and 2" suspension lift.Ive just fitted new iron man front springs and found the drag link hits the drivers side ubolt(flat type) Ive read i need a drop drag link,is this right? Do i need a wheel alignment after fitting the drop drag link?

I just rang to order a new drop drag link and the guy asked me if the diff has been moved forward,how do i tell if has or hasnt? Standing side on it doesnt look like it.........

Look on the under side of the top spring perch, if the centre bolt in the spring is in the centre of the perch it is not moved forward.

If you can't see, have to lift the chassy put on stands and loosen the u bolts till you can drop the diff enough to see
