75 problems and Q's

Hey im new so be sorry to sound stupid i have been given dads 75 it has snorkel bull bar good steel tray 2 inch efs lift but dad is extreamly lazy and has driven through lots of water the lift is new but he hasent greased it and i dont know what graese to use on rubber shakles and now there creeking so i need to get the names of this stuff b4 they wear out the ute stays on the farm because his ute is geting fixed (also due to lack of maintainence) and i failed my p plates so no mudding 4 me :( . also My bro has offered to buy me steel rims to replace the split rims will -22 15x8 fit without scrubbing with 33s ? this is my first 4by so im sorry 4 the stupid Q's

Congrats on the free 75.

Some other more knowledge people than me will probably chime in about the grease. Ask at the shop you buy it from or if you have some lying around use that for the time being. Do the whole car while your there. In particular the front drive shaft!

The 33's will be ok with those rims and lift

Just replace all of the shackle bushes if they're creaking. They're probably stuffed anyway. Can't remember the name of the stuff but most bushing manufacturers will include some white grease with their bushes.

its all brand new so it shouldent need replaceing if i know the grese i can get it this arvo and the new motor rocks up soon so the half dead 2h is being replaced with a rebuilt 2h+t and any faults to be found in the shafts? i havent herd anything ?

No more so than any other car but they require nice fresh grease as well!

Sorry, missed the bit about the springs being new. Greasable shackles may be the go if they aren't already in it.
