Curious to know what the weight of a 3l 2.8d engine is as i can get hold of an engine stand but its max is 450kg.
i am guessing that it is under 450kg but any info will be appreciated

I guess no one knows so i will just try it and see what happens......... hopefully nothing and it takes the weight.

Gday mate, Im not sure on the weight of a 2.8, i have taken the engine out of mine before and had it on a real cheap (supercheap auto) engine stand. and it took the weight easy. I am guessing it wouldnt weigh any more than 300kgs with all the ancilleries on it. Ash
