Ok i just washed the outside of my car (windows and panels) but i skipped the roof altogether cause it woul be a major PITA to even attempt to clean it.
For those of you without side steps..... how do you go about washin the roof of your 4WD ? ? ?
I just skip it all together.... but have noticed it looks abit blackish
Cheers
Anthony
P.S. This onyl applies to lifted vehicles as I know that the standard range rover roof can be washed quiet easily

Simple answer would be to stand on top of the tyres??

well, if yer truck is high enough that you can't wash it, the only time you will see that it is blackish is when you roll it off a hill!

Yeah i could do that and then probably be able to wash 40% of the roof I would have an odd diamond shape black patche in the middle

If i stand on the tyres and then on the tail gate I will have an arrow pointing forward instead of the diamond

i stand on the bonnet. but your vehicle is made from recycled coke cans, so i guess you can't really do that.

This whole topics begs to ask.................HOW TALL ARE YOU and HOW TALL IS YOUR 4WD ???
I'm only 6'3" and can just reach the centre with a sponge of my Feroza's roof standing on tippy toes, the bulk of the mud comes off with high pressure hose.

Isn't a Rangie bonnet made from steel? I thought the bonnet was the only panel not aluminium.

I've got a small step on ladder.. just enough to clean the whole roof.
Think i'll have to get the bigger ladder out when i put mine up 4inches

As someone famous once said "Milk crates are the cats arse"
I just stand on a milk crate and wash it with a broom, Im used to washing coaches with a broom so it just came pretty natural to me.
