Hi guys i am looking to buy a 70 series for a work ute and would prefer the GXL with only two seats (to limit having to cart every bludger about) and like the interior trim however the carpet floor is going to be an issue with greasy work boots. So does anyone know if there is vinyl trim under the carpet in the new (2009- 2010) GXL utes? failing that does anyone know where plastic interior covers can be found (preferably in Qld)? I have seen these on the door trims in a patrol but didn't think to ask where they could be found.

Thanks for your help, Johnsy.

No vinyl underneath, just rip the carpet out and get either a genuine toyota carpet or some off ebay. You might be able to even get the dealer to do a swap with a base model.
