Does anyone else have issues with the Marks Adpator from a T700 to hilux transfercases coming loose at the 4 mounting bolts on the rear of the Box.... mine continueally comes loose and now one bolt hole is stripped... Peice of shit...
Im making a solid brace from the T700 Gbox mount back to the front transfercase mount to try to stop it seperating again....
Has anyone made these braces before do they work or what... Iv seen a few done in the states..

Mate is have the Same issue as you Matt with T700 to Hilux in 2 car's. Hilux and Bundera. He was saying something about Drilling out the thread and running a bolt instead of the studs. I'll ask him and get back too you.
Mate had MASSIVE Issues with the Marks from T700 to GQ. Seperated the 2 all the time, never sealed, dropped fluid, stripped a few stud's.

You will find that if the kit had been ordered for comp. use the brackets you are talking about would have been included. Mark did that for their Bundera that was comped.

Its not just a problem with Marks addapters. Allmost all brands suffer the same issues when addapting anything to the Turbo boxes. The pic above is a good fix and worth the effort.

I have a T700 with a 60 series transfer case. I rebuilt the auto & transfer case last year & it was the first time a spanner had touched them since the car was built 7 or 8 years ago & they were still nice & tight. I will get under it now just to check now though.

alloy welding means you can never get it apart again tho.... cable ties would be way more practical
make sure they are heavy duty ones tho

That part of the box if welded you can still remove all parts no problem but I'm hoping it will never come to that
The brace will fix it
