Does anyone know if there is a difference between the 90 model lux master cylinder 25mm bore and the 80 series 25mm bore master cylinders
Just carried out rear disc brake conversion looks like I need a master larger cylinder

If they both are to suit drum rear, then Lux has brake lines on guard side & 80 has them on engine side is only difference I know of since they run the same front calipers.

Running a 80 disc/disc booster & master or 90/95 Prado disc/disc booster & master may be better.
A willwood proportion valve for the rear may also be needed.

I borrowed a 80 series master cylinder today see if it works before buying one...

Hi mate i also have a 90 hilux that i have done a rear disc brake conversion on,and i am using the same brake master cylinder it came out with,as long as it is the 15/16 one you should not have a problem.In saying that what type of callipers are you using as i am using subaru fronts on the rear of mine,and they work perfectly.

Im using 75 series front 4 piston calipers on the rear so, the standard 15/16 master cylinder just doesnt cut it.
I put the 80series 1in one on last night and works a treat...
Most people use the subaru or Prado rear calipers they are only single pistion and quiet small...
