Hi,
I have a Nissan Patrol GQ,4.2D turbo SWB.
I fitted a Tough Dog 4" suspension (panhard rods, castor bushes , coil, shocks, rear upper and lower arms, double cardin axle, higher F+R stabilizer, rims 15x12 and tires 33x13.5). I upgrade the front brake discs with tarox, i rebuilt the front calipers and when i press the brakes the car is not stable. I can feel it that is goes left and right as well. Does anyone had similar problem? Also i fitted a Return-to-Centre XHD Extreme. The brake master cylinder is brand new. I hope somebody can give me some advices because is very annoying. Thanks.

Caster bushes won't give sufficient caster correction for a 4" lift, you need drop arms, drop boxes or caster plates.

If i fit drop arms or boxes then it will solve the problem with the brakes?

What sort of wheels do you have on your car?
I tend to agree with what's been said above. I suspect that your castor is at around 0 degree with this lift and offset bushes.
I ran a similar setup for a while and the car was all over the place (no dictional stability) but I didn't have problems with pulling left and right on braking.
I think there must be something else wrong with your car, but I haven idea what it could be.
Fitting the correct drop boxes for your lift will certainly get your front diff setup back to factory settings

Cheers
Joachim
