hi guys i've never owned a winch before and i got a gq wagon a while back with a warn high mount its looks to be maybe only a couple years old im wondering how much of a beating this winch will handle or which parts i should look at upgrading bearing in mind i dont want to build a mega buck comp winch and are the 6hp motors a worthwhile upgrade, thanks

Highmount a Gq and correct wiring will take a large beating have look at the comp trucks. Try a search on the high mounts first there's a fair bit of info out there.
