Im looking for a pump to move water from the tank under the trailer to a sink and smaller tank at the rear of the trailer.
Ebayed it and there seems to be 100 plus options. what PSI pump or Lpm should i be looking at to ensure i move water quick enough through a tap ( looking at normal tap speed) to maintain a good pressure without crap going everywhere.

I went to Camec, asked them. They gave me a few options depending on the flow required and $120 later i had no more silly plunger type taps where you have to pump the water yourself. I turn on a tap, pressure valve in the pump detects it and water flows. Turn the tap off and the pump turns off.
Walk into most marine supply places they have em too. (with warranty instead of ebay's "hope it works" policy)

I bought a whale for my one.
From memory it pumps 11 litres a minute but isnt at mains pressure. Does the job well for us. Cost $50 from a boating place.
We also have the caravan plunger tap for the sink. When you turn the whale on it just pushes the plunger up with the water pressure. Reason I went this way was if the pump fails or the battery goes flat at least you can still pump water out of the system for use.
We havent needed to do it yet and it has only been used for testing (hand pumping) but it all works fine.

ive got one of these or the 30 similar ones of ebay LOL

works great, will suction feed over 20 metres, ive actually ran a shower off it through 15m hose from a creek plus the hoses and heat exchanger to the shower
has better pressure and flow than most of the houses ive lived in LOL

I bought an ebay one for about $70.
Pro Pumps i think the brand is
It flows 17 lpm at 40 psi, it works excellent as my shower pump, self priming, can run dry for a while without damage, comes with barb fittings and filter etc.
It will pick up and self prime from a 2m drop without any hassle to fill my on board tank.
Highly recommended.

we use Sure Flow pumps in the vans at work and offer Flow Jet ones as an upgrade.
