How long to change a 2h crank seal?

Apart from the 45mm socket are any other special / unusual tools needed?

Cheers
Ben

do u mean the front main seal?

I'm pretty sure you don't need anything special apart from the big socket. It can be on pretty tight so might need a big breaker bar and you will need to wedge the engine still by removing the starter motor and wedging a spanner or similar in the teeth of the flywheel. Unless you have a one inch rattle gun you will probably need to do this. When I did it the whole car just moved and with the brakes pressed on the clutch slipped...well i believe it did. Wedged the engine still and it came of a breeze.

Thanks mate,

yeah front main, had to grind the big socket down to fit inside the pulley, but the rattle gun got it off no worries.

was easy job, some other info on line said to pull the front engine casing off, couldnt see the point as the seal was easily accessable.

Thanks
Ben
