Small air pump, switch and ECU.

Or just the small pump and a toggle switch. But if you get the ECU, it'll work like factory with the light on the dash, etc

The ECU
- prevents it being locked if the centre diff is not locked
- doesn't allow it to be locked at faster than 5km/h
- auto unlocks when you unlock the centre diff
- activates the dash light (bulb is already there  )

The small air pump is
- under the drivers side 2nd row of seats behind the wee flap (LWB)
- behind the passenger 2nd row plastic trim behind rear speaker (SWB)

The ECU is
- beside air pump (SWB)
- behind plastic trim by fuel filler (3rd row seats - LWB)

The wiring loom should be there for your vehicle, for plug and play - it was for both mine but there was a short peice missing near the centre console on my project one.

Compressor, already have one so may be a reason to mount it on a full time basis to a tank.
ECU .. Honestly dont care.. air locker switch is cheap.

Neither do I :finger: I just answered ya question!

But the locker needs 7-8 psi so by the time you fart about getting a regulator to go that low etc you may as well use the factory one.

They are air and there is no air line to under the bonnet, it goes through the floor under the rear seats into the cab.

Was it a factory rear locker, or ARB? Could've had ARB with compressor under bonnet? Can you post a pic of the air line into the diff?

Good point Scott, ARB one will most likeyl be blue air line, Mitsubishi one has wires coming out of the diff as well as the air line.

I have a 96 exceed , blown engine , has a factory air locker in it , sell it complete axle to axle with all switches & air lines & ecu to suit , these will fit straight into your pajero as the wiring is part of the standard option , asking $1000
be quick if any one wants it.
after having Pajeros for so many years , i have changed to a nissan patrol , pajero shits over it for off road use .but one thing is good ,i have not had to replace a engine yet , Touch wood.
out of the 3 pajero's i have owned , the best one was a 90 model 3ltr V6 , (ex stacked it) pity i didnt get insurance pay out for her

Well I am still lockerless .. but made a very tidy profit .. ( almost $1000 .. need money more than I need a locker right now) )
