Shannons Bootyfab winch mount

Well - as some of you are aware, I picked up a Tigerz winch not long ago....
As I have an alloy bar - my options were:
a) Make a Mount out of bits of RHS, Plate, Angle Iron, etc...and cut hole in Alloy Bar
b) Reinforce Alloy Bar, and attach winch to bar
c) Make new Steel Bar
d) Find existing steel bar, with provision for winch.
As I've got bits of scrap steel coming out of my ears (I've been building stuff by bolting it together for a long time, and more recently I've been using them to practice my welds after I picked up a stick welder... I Decided to go with option a), with provision to transform it into c) in the future.
The winch mount is nearly finished. I've some plating to do, and need to round off the corners of the plate that extends forwards to the fairlead.
The bullbar needs a tidy up, and then I may give this stick welding aluminium thing a go, and see if I can sort of make it come out to the fairlead a little - but I'm not fussed as the bar has been use as a device to move things on a few occasions, and isn't exactly straight anyway... Would be good practice even if I don't keep the bar...
Any ideas to help make it more of a prick for theiving bastards to knock off?
Oh yeah...
