Well a bonnet scoop isn't going to solve your problems no matter how many fit.

When was the last time the cooling system was checked / repaired??? Clogged radiator or partially stuffed thermostat are the most likely causes.

I wouldn't drive it too far without getting it fixed - an engine rebuild is not a cheap repair.

can you pop an additional electric thermo fan in there anywhere?

Adding things to try and help the cooling system is not the first fix to look at.

First off u should drain and pull the radiator out for a good flush and inspection of the fins, then replace or check the thermostat, also check that the viscous fan clutch is working correctly. Insure that the fan blades and shrouds are in good order and that the ac condenser is clear of mud.

If all this checks out and it still overheats then u can try a few small things like adding a 82 degree thermostat, spacing up the rear bonnet mounts by about 5mm. Removing spotlights from the airstream in front of the grill.

If it still overheats u shud then consider adding a larger radiator, also look into an aftermarket gauge so u know the exact temps. Electric thermofans and hood scoops should not be required if the cooling system is in good working order. U can do more harm then good if the scoops aren't in the right spot or installed correctly.

On a side note do u know watt ur boost and exhaust gas readings are? I assume u are running a surf 2LT?
