stacks look good, but it depend wot sort of driving you want to do. i considered stacks for my 79 series, but after sum thought worked out that they wouldn't last very long in the bush,... i have clearance issues as it is and i would simply rip them off same as driving lights on the rear bar, already torn off a snorkel and snapped plenty of arials.
'stacks are fine in open 4wd situations, just not in dense bush

i was thinking about putting stacks on my 75 series ute, but i have been told with the 4l 2h, it may also loose some power and torque. Is this correct?

If the engine pipe remains around 2.25-2.5" then i can't see it making any difference.

I ran extractors on a 2H which killed the low down torque but did seem to let it rev a little more freely (a mute point given 2H's don't make any power up there anyway)

i moved the tray back 6" so they had room to bugger around in there fitting them, i haven't moved it back yet as i'm building a new tray soon, ha yeah the bars not finished yet still need to put spottie and arial mounts on yet then get it powdercoated(that is just a quick prime and spay as i just finished it before a cruiser park trip)

Pros: sounds Amazing!!!!!
Cons: Rain

The pipe work to behind the cab is all bolt on the only section that was made up is the "y" piece that feeds the stacks

the 2h doesnt have much to start with, mainly you loose power if the pipe is to large, also have been told they work better as a straight through as there is no restrictions and it allows it to push air out and up quiker? is that tru

where can you buy the heat shield and flaps for top for em like on the trucks?
just thinking of putting one on my 47 ute :finger:
cheers
