Outer Limits 4x4 Board

Hi Guys,
After spending the afternoon smiling with pride polishing my patrol, i changed the oil, and fuel has started dripping from the bottom of my fuel pump, it seems to be coming from the diamond shaped plate pictured, can someone clarify and suggest repair?

There is a o ring behind that plate you can buy it from nissan or maybe diesel specialist , easy fix unbolt and replace o'ring .

For those interested, the part is $17 from nissan, no current gasket and o ring rebuild kits in aust.....they are $200 +

HI MATE JUST TO LET YOU KNOW THE LEAK WILL BE FROM THE O RING AS SUGGESTED REAL EASY FIX TAKE OF THROTTLE CABLE AND UNBOLT THROTTLE LEVER AND REMOVE TOP PLATE O RING ON SHAFT PART NUMBER FROM NISSAN AUS IS N I 19235-V0700 INVOICE PRICE FROM BAYSIDE NISSAN IS 10.00 PLUS GST SO $11.00 IN TOTAL HOPE THIS HELPS AND IF IT STARTS TO LEAK LETS SAY IN A WEEK OR SO YOU CAN BUY COPLETE TOP HOUSING WITH LIP SEAL AND O RING FOR ABOUT $150.00 TO $200.00 I HAVE DONE THIS MYSELF.ALSO KITS ARE AVAILABLE IN AUS YOU JUST HAVE TO KNOW WHERE TO LOOK MTQ IN DANDENONG HAVE THEM ON THE SHELF I WAS THERE TODAY.

I'll take a stab and guess that the pump hasn't been re sealed to run low sulfur diesel fuel.

By all means replace the oring, but if it starts to leak again, take it and have it completely rebuilt. otherwise you will run in to more problems and end up spending alot of cash on it.
