6hp 10,000 warn

Post by bundyrum4x4 »

Got an old 10,000 warn winch currently fitted to the Mav.
Good winch, but veeerrrrrryyyyy slow.

Long term plan it to fit a high mount done up by Les and fit the new 6hp motor. As funds are a bit low atm,(need new tires) I was thinking of getting the new motor and fitting it to the low mount.

What do you think?

It should pull faster and harder compared to the old 2.1hp but would it be worth the $. Also means I could carry the old motor as a spear. Prob could sell it on the track to some despro and make some $ out of it :D

Don't know how effective that would be. You couldn't throw it very far and i doubt you'd be able to break the skin. It might cause a nasty bruise though. :D
