Ok so im about to start a trailer build out of my totalled 2wd Navara chasis. Will get 4wd springs to raise it up a bit. What i want to know is what do people do to get better articulation out of leaf springs. Keep in mind it will be fairly light weight. Pic would be good. Also needs to be legal but post up and I will discuss with local trailer shop where I will get is complianced.
Cheers in advance.

Wheel travel is irrelevant on a single axle trailer. Four or Five inches of vertical travel would be miles.

Cheers mate, just dont want something that is as stiff as all hell and bounces all over the place. Could just take a few leaves out.

OR......
Build some arms and make it a coil or airbag sprung?
Or maybe look at some stuff from a company called ALKO, they produce a rubber bushed independent set-up.....
Food for thought.
Or, maybe go for the longest leaf springs and try to keep them flatish by removing a few leaves, but it will bugger your load carrying capacity.
Cheers, Dano.
