hi i have some speakers from house hold systems i was wondering can i use them in the car or will it blow up or somthing

You could use them, but they'll most likely be 8 Ohms impedance instead of 4 Ohms like all car speakers are. This means they may not sound as loud (but other factors such as the speaker sensitivity also come into play there.....) You won't hurt anything by trying them - going lower than 4 Ohms could, but higher is fine.
They may also not sound as good because house speakers are generally designed to fit into a proper enclosure; so unless you build them into the correct dimension box (or something similar) in your car they will be operating outside of their designed parameters. Generally most car speakers are designed for mounting in doors etc where they don't have a proper enclosure to help them work.

ok thanx for that really helps i might just plug them in wil in the boxes and test them may use them till i get money to buy stuff

you could wire them in parallel which means that the radio will "see" a 4 ohm load
