I Have ordered a 3 inch lift and "4inch" touch dog shocks for my new truck.
I have been told i wont be able to run a rear sway bar with any shock this size bore shock.

Anyone had any experiance with this?
Is it just a matter of limiting down travel, or tweeking the sway bar a little?

This car is being set up as a tourer so i want to run a sway bar.
and i definatly want to run big bore shocks

P.S can the anti tough dog croud stay out of this thread :P I have ran them in a few cars now and if they are set up properly they dont fail.

I've got 5inch coils and 6 inch tuff dogs on my 80 with the rear swaybar fitted with extensions I've had no probs :D

I've got 5" springs and the 6" shocks on the rear end of my 105, my shocks are the 45mm adjustables, heaps of clearance between the shock and swaybar.

I USED to run them in my 80 and had to extend the swaybar hangers so they wouldnt touch the shock, but does only put a small dent in them :)

PS Tough Dogs are JUNK :finger:

one question for ya, what do you mean by setting them up properly? they just bolt on... there is no science to it, they simply fail :finger:
