HZJ80 engine removal question

Hi folks,
I am taking the motor out of my 1997 GXL 80 Series 'Cruiser. Does anybody know if I can just whip the fan and radiator out and pull the engine (leaving the g/box in the car)? At a look it seems like that's possible, I was hoping not to have to pull the condensor, radiator support etc. if I didn't have to.
I've got a nice shed to work in and a crane to do the lifting.
If anyone can offer advice it would be much appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
Cheers
Muz

I left the gearbox in mine when I did it, I removed the radiator and I removed the condensor only because I was doing other work with the AC at the same time.
There should be enough room to get the engine out without removing the condensor.

Thanks mate, that was my theory but I wanted to confirm with some people who have done the job.

Remove radiator and bonnet, condenser and gearbox can stay in.

I'd still put a sheet of sheet metal in front of the condenser just in case of slippage

That's a good idea; an easy way to save an annoying and expensive mishap.
