Outer Limits 4x4 Board

my 1992 rn105 hilux is having problems starting.

when i turn the key into the start position i hear a click and nothing else. no cranky, no trying to start, just a click. if i hold the key for long enough, sometimes up2 a minute it will eventually kick over. this only started on wed.

is it my starter motor, or should i b focusing on the solenoid?

any ideas where to get this solenoid if it is my problem?

id bet on the starter solinoid,( u can get a new 1 from most auto eleco's) my old hilux did the same before i had the starter rebuilt, although if the soliniod has packed it in it'd probly be worth ur while having the whole starter rebuilt if money alows as the rest is probly on its last legs 2.

Also you might have dirty contacts. Clean all ya wire connections on ya starter motor and battery.

Also try hooking another battery in as well and try to start.

i wire brushed my contacts. still have the starting problem. the connections were rusty and bluish tinge to the wire connections??

the starter motor still clicks but after 5-10 turns at trying to start it. it eventually cranks.?????:S:S:
