5L in 80 series

hi guys was just wondering will the 80 series gearbox auto or man and transfer handle the power out of a stock to mild holden 5L

yep. 5litre is probably leaving you underpowered. 80series is close to 3tonne (approx 2700kg)

I dont think Holden made Hilux engines

i will be cutting the back end of the 80 off to make it a ute so it will lighten it abit

I stroked mine to a 355, haven't driven it yet, but it is built for low down torque. I personally think it will be an awesome engine for the weight and size of the 80 and definitely more power than the 1hz that was in it.
