Was cutting of shackle mounts and it melted the chassis.

How do u think i should fix it or will it be right to just weld shackles back again.

fark how did u manage that i would be welding in some plates befor putting the shackles back on

looks like you got a little carried away there.....I`d say clean it all up neatly and plate it back up to close it off...then reweld your hanger back on...
there are special gouging tips you can use for jobs like this they are a cutting tip but have a 45 degree bend in them ideal for repair work and cuttuing thru welds but are not cheap....I know it was a bastard when I cut my rear hangers of but you have to know where to cut and where not to cut ,I used a small angle grinder and those factory welds are very strong

Nasty :shock:

Weld some plates on then put shackles on.

I wouldnt trust the strength of chassis atm without plates and puttin shackles on

fold a peice of plate up like a U shape and weld it back on..

just weldin flat plate on the bottom wont b any good

sometimes its better to use a cutting disc on the grinder to cut the welds then use a cold chisel to brake the old mounts off. Be carefull to clean it up before you plate it as it will be a potential rust problem in the future.
