Anyone know what the little grey relay that is screwed up under the dash once the glovebox has been removed in a 3f petrol 86 mod 70 series landcruiser?

i got it out and it says charge lamp relay, any ideas how to test it?

same as any relay. multi-meter and test leads. if you get continuity across the switch and load poles respectively then it is ok.
